The timing on this is scary there sweet cousin. We look to be embarking on a flight from GA to CO in the next few weeks, and I've never flown. Small fear of flying. Small fear of CRASHING....
Someone best invent the teleportation machine PDQ...
No big deal. Old engines like this leak oil, and hot oil smokes. There was no fire, and no imminent danger. We saw this on the ground, and had it fixed before we even flew... Your trip will be in a plane with turbines, very dependable very safe. Relax and enjoy the ride!
Dear Husband will be with me- he's flown quite a bit. He promised me that A) he CAN get me on a plane (he can. He's strong as an ox) and B) If I get too upset, he'll drug me ;) That way he can just carry me off the plane too..LOL
And I shoulda said, "Small fear of flying----- HUGE fear of CRASHING!" ;)
(Dear Husband works with an Army Ranger though who lived through an Apache chopper crash-- messed up his back for good, but he LIVED--- that's something, right?)
